Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix the Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet elementary school. Felix demonstrated a talent for athletics early on discovering her talent for sprinting while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition and placing among the top two athletes at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003. She later enrolled in University of Southern California to study elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. Felix was also the youngest winner of the 200 meters at the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005. She was able to defend her record the following year, defeating time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She consistently placed at the top of the podium in every event.
