Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha more known by her stage and screen names Gugu Mbatha Raw. Her popularity grew for her role in the BBC Science Fiction TV show Doctor Who. Handler began her career as an actress in order to support her. Handler took the decision to concentrate on stand-up at the age of 21 following the realization of her story telling abilities. Her career began as an actress in a cast of all females on the Oxygen channel's reality-TV show Girls who behave poorly. The show was an amalgamation of hidden cameras as well as funny comedy.
